Light is coming back to Edinburgh after the darkness of the winter!

There was a warm glow of low sunlight in the little free library in the meadows. I love walking around the city and stumbling across these little libraries, and finding what surprises people have left in them. I have to resist swapping books until I've slimmed down my giant "Books I must read" pile; I'm one of those people who finds it much easier to aquire books than read them.

I don't have a book hoarding problem; it's preparation for my personal library with secret revolving book-case.

Another image taken nearby. I loved seeing the person looking at the sunlight visible on the old tenements of Buccleuch Place, contrasted with the angular lines of Edinburgh university main library. The reflected orange just warms up the black granite.
